This site is WH-347 Check, run by Nick Kaufman, a sole proprietor in Austin, Texas. By using the site or sending me a form to check, you agree to what is written here. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

What the service is

You send me one WH-347 you have already filed. I read it by hand against the applicable wage determination and reply with one of two things: it looks clean, or here is the row, the reason, and the number it should read. That is the whole service. It is a second set of eyes on a form.

What it is not

• It is not legal advice and it is not accounting or tax advice. I am not your lawyer or your accountant.
• It is not a certification. I never sign your Statement of Compliance. You sign it, and you remain the party responsible for what you file.
• It is not a guarantee. A review is a careful human read, not a promise that every error is caught or that an agency will accept your filing.

Your responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of your own payroll, for what you submit, and for the compliance certification you sign. A note from me does not move that responsibility to me, and it is not a defense you can point to later. Use my note as a prompt to check your own work, not as a substitute for it.

No warranty

The site and the check are provided as is. I work carefully, but I do not warrant that the review is complete or error free, or that following it will prevent any rejection, withheld payment, penalty, back wage finding, or debarment. Prevailing wage compliance depends on facts only you hold, and rules change.

Limit of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or the check, including anything that follows from a filing you make. The first check is free, and any later paid check, if one is ever offered, is limited in liability to the amount you paid for that check.

Acceptable use

Do not use the site to break the law, do not try to disrupt or attack it, and do not send content you have no right to share. Send payroll data only for jobs you are actually working on.

Who owns the content

The words, layout and the self check tool on this site are mine. You are welcome to read them and use the guidance for your own filings. Please do not copy the site or pass it off as your own.

Which law applies

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to conflict of law rules. Any dispute is handled in the courts serving Travis County, Texas.

Changes

I may update these terms. The current version is always the one on this page, with the date at the top. If I make a significant change, I will say so plainly.
